tea spice smoked duck w quinoa & red cabbage salad
Di Bella Coffee Roasting Warehouse is not as slick as the space at Code Black Coffee, a much more laidback rustic feel. But the food, wow. The tea spice smoked duck special had these gorgeously thick hearty duck slices laid out next to a quinoa salad with crunchy walnuts and sweet grapes.
crispy prawn brioche roll // wagyu burger, smoked tomato relish, aged cheddar, caramelised fennel & onion, pickles & chips
Said to be banh mi style, but the bun is not as crunchy & crumbly. If anything it’s more like Golden Fields, soft buttery brioche buns almost sweet, with a deliciously addictive kewpie tartare, not unlike the one in a, dare I say it, filet o’ fish. Hidden behind the chips is this divine mild sriracha that has you polishing off the chips despite having had an indulgent brioche ice cream sandwich” at Mixed Business a mere three hours ago.
