Stokehouse cafe on ground level with the gorgeous restaurant above. I hadn’t dined at the cafe prior to the refurb, I’ve only ever had brief glimpses as I made my way to the restaurant. Now, it’s brighter and airier during the day with views of the water.
My trout was cooked quite thoroughly, on a bed of fennel, green olives and potatoes.

My favourite of the night - soft supple mushrooms, juicy & fragrant, lightly truffled with taleggio shavings.
Lunch the following day at the restaurant upstairs.
