Short of flying to New York for a cronut, those delectable dossants at Movida Bakery will do just fine. Chantilly & lemon curd were our picks (poor little raspberry) for our morning pastry.
Dusted with sugar, it feels like a donut, but oh boy while it retains the satisfying slow bite you get from a donut, it’s no longer dense & thick in your mouth. It’s light, flaky layers, ridiculously more-ish. Lordy lord and cream piped down the middle. Just down the road from me, it’s going to be a serious problem.
