I absolutely adore fluffy buttery brioche so naturally I’ve never been able to stay away from this store. I’ve had a sweet treat or two from the Brioche by Phillip along Queen Street but I wasn’t particularly impressed.
Olive Sourdough ($5) & Croissant
On our way back from Prahran Market, I just had to pick up a loaf of olive sourdough which was brimming with huge whole olives. And we couldn’t resist the freshly baked croissant - popped it in the oven, then slathered butter all over it and watch it melt and soak into the gorgeous golden flaky pastry.
