Kew

Tucked away in a quieter part of Kew yet brimming with people, Ora occupies a tiny space and makes full use of every inch.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a muffin with this many blueberries.

Soy Latte
I’ve never been able to resist a good hot chocolate or a milkshake - still the kid at heart. Yet after stumbling upon these gorgeous coffee beans up in the mountains in Taiwan, sampling what was promised and wisely hauling back a fair few bags, I developed a penchant for coffee. And now I find myself leaning more towards a latte than an iced chocolate. Sometimes I succumb and have both.

2 Eggs Scrambled & Avocado ($9)
Silky and fluffy.

Hot Duck Roll - Kewpie Mayo, Black Sesame & Cucumber Salad ($15)
The coveted duck roll. Less Lobster Roll a la Golden Fields, more akin to Huxtable’s Oyster Po Boy. The roll is crusty yet softer than it looks, with coriander, cucumber and scallion slivers and tender morsels of duck oozing with creamy kewpie mayo. One simply isn’t enough.

Sweet Corn Omelette, Parmesan, Toast & Leaves ($17)
The omelette was light and buttery, with little sweet corn kernels nestled within.

Thumbs up all round. The eggs were simple yet executed beautifully. I adored my duck roll and the coffee was to my liking - not too strong.
