M Bar is an Italian bistro just down the road from us. Despite the change in name, the food is every bit as good as it ever was.
A family favourite. Reserved for family Sunday brunches. And late lunches. Our must haves include:
Smoked Salmon Stack with Avocado, Tomato Salsa, Ice Berg Lettuce, Spinach & Lemon Soy Dressing ($16.5)
Creamy avocado generously heaped on a gorgeous tangy tomato salsa, sitting on a bed of smoked salmon.
Zucchini flower fritters with a secret. These beautiful fritters are filled with a delicious goat’s cheese. One of my favourite dishes, nothing beats the satisfying crunch followed by the gorgeous creamy melted goat’s cheese filling. Accompanied with a bed of rocket, beetroot and cherry tomatoes.
Chilli Prawn Linguine with Coriander, Garlic & Lemon ($28)
Another one of our favourites. Big juicy prawns in a spicy tangy sauce with pasta cooked al dente.
M Bar will firmly remain a favourite for many years to come.
