Solarino is a little Italian bistro tucked away off Little Collins Street.
Retro Garlic Prawns Served with Char-grilled Bread ($32.9)
Favourite dish which I will keep coming back for. Crunchy juicy prawns smothered in a buttery garlicky sauce. Tearing hunks of the crusty buttery bread and soaking up that delicious sauce was a real highlight. Reminded me of the Cajun Shrimp I had in Orlando.
Duck Risotto
Flavour was a little lacking. A little too sweet for my taste.
Spaghetti Vongole with Pesto & Blood Orange
Fresh clams. Pasta was al dente. Don’t know if I like my pasta with pesto.
Grilled Octopus & Rocket Salad
I probably wouldn’t try their other dishes, but I’d definitely be back for those buttery garlicky prawns.
