Macaronpops
Luxbite is a bright little cafe along Toorak Road.

They have a gorgeous array of sweet treats.

And delightful creations.

But what I love most about Luxbite is its unique macaron flavours.

Flavours include Kaffir Lime, Vanilla Creme Brulee and Mandarin & Saffron.

Kaya Toast, Strawberry Cream, Salted Caramel, Chocolate Freckle, Sicilian Pistachio, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Raspberry and White Chocolate, Watermelon Yoghurt ($22)
Flavour-wise, the gorgeous coral and green macaron (Watermelon & Yoghurt) was my personal favourite. The Chocolate Freckle was probably the best overall, flavour and texture wise. A beautiful sleek chocolate coating, and a nice amount of bite, yet chewy and luxurious on the inside.

Organic English Breakfast ($4.8)
They use Tea Forte’s beautiful leaf topped pyramid silken infusers. (Note: They sell them by the box and would make lovely gifts for Mummies and Grandmummies)

Bread and Butter Pudding with Pandan Custard ($8)
The pandan custard was fragrant, light and frothy. The pudding on the other hand was served cold and a little stodgy.

Poached Eggs and Smoked Ham with a Burnt Butter Hollandaise Sauce, served on La Madre Toast ($16)
The Hollandaise was a let down. It was sweet and was quite thick. The runny yolks were a delicious accompaniment to the buttery toast.
I was quite underwhelmed by the breakfasts. However, the macarons were an absolute pleasure and make a gorgeous gift for a loved one with a sweet tooth.
